The largest city in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Dallas is a cosmopolitan mix of high-end shopping, restaurants, sports, and the performing arts. The home to great sports, world-class museums and galleries, large zoos, gardens, and aquariums, and other attractions. There are also many colleges and corporate campuses in the area. Bush Presidential Center.
Dallas is the home of the 5-time Superbowl Champion Dallas Cowboys, but the city offers much more for sports fans. Catch the Dallas Mavericks on home court at American Airlines Center or watch the Dallas Stars take home ice at the American Airlines Center. If you’re more into soccer, watch the FC Dallas take control of Toyota Stadium.
Dallas’ continental positioning results in hot, humid summers, with July and August reaching highs of 96℉. During the summer the city may experience extreme weather, including hailstorms, tornadoes, and thunderstorms. Winters are mild to cool, with average highs of 56.8℉ in January. Spring and summer have moderate temperatures, with spring bringing an abundance of wildflowers.
